Whether you have a specific playlist in mind, or you just want to tell us your favorite song and let us do the rest, we’re committed to creating the perfect audio/visual experience for you. Karisma Events takes great pride in providing personalized service to all of our clients, and we do that by only taking on as many events as we personally can.  While we are happy to provide referrals if we are booked on your requested date, when you book with Karisma Events, you are booking with DJ Ali D, the owner, who will be personally handling your event.  You'll be working with Ali one-on-one from day one, giving us the chance to develop a relationship and get to know what makes your event special, and ensuring that no detail is missed by sending a less-experienced DJ in our place.


The daughter of a former violinist for the San Diego Symphony Orchestra, Ali is an accomplished vocalist who has spent her entire life surrounded by music, and over half of it behind a microphone, including several years as an on-air personality for a local radio station..  Music and entertainment truly are her life’s work and her passion.  As the main stage DJ for Warrior Dash 2012 and 2013 in Thompson, CT, DJ Ali D had a blast keeping thousands of people moving both on and off the race track, keeping them dancing for hours after the races ended!  In 2015, Ali was honored to be elected the new President of New England Wedding Professionals, an organization committed to setting a higher standard in the special event industry.  Ali has this to say about her work with Karisma Events – “DJing has a lot in common with my experience performing on stage.  There are no time-outs and no second chances.  Every moment matters, and when someone else is in the spotlight at a Karisma event, it’s my responsibility to make that moment perfect.  We don’t just make music happen, we make memories happen.”
